and now that I've written that, I can't seem to find a 'good' PDF, they're all contributing to the white box issue. So let's say I loaded Bad1.PDF, Bad2.PDF, Bad3.PDF and have a white box on my screen since Bad1.PDF, if I close Bad1.PDF the same white box is still there until the other two are closed. There will only be one white box while clicking through 'bad' PDF's, and that same white box will always exist as a 'bad' PDF is open. Load another bad PDF (different file) and the PDF is displayed on the primary screen, over the white box and not on the designated screen.ģ. Load bad PDF and you have the contents of the PDF on the requested screen and white box on primary screen.Ģ. While evaluating them, I noticed a pattern:ġ. They actually do contain confidential information concerning clients. would you be able to email one of the affected PDF's to me at (assuming they don't contain confidential information of course) No doubt, this is an Adobe Acrobat issue but I'd like to hear if anyone has a work around for this annoyance as I can't use this feature like this. Unfortunately, that big stupid white box annoys the crap out of me, as it gets in the way of my primary screen work. So then I upgraded to Adobe Reader 10.1 and the functionality is a little bit better, as now when I close the PDF, it also closes this big stupid white box that takes up the entire primary display.

A new box, assigned to AcroRd32.exe, would be created with every PDF. While I could close my PDF's on the secondary display, I could not close these boxes by right-click close on the task bar and had to end the process. With Adobe Reader 10.0, this functionality successfully moved the PDF to this display unfortunately it also left a blank white box, full screen, on the primary display. To hasten this movement, increasing my efficiency and decreasing my annoyance levels, I set DisplayFusion "Window Location" feature to move AcroRd32.exe to this display. I always move my PDF's to my left 24" LCD oriented vertically for preferable reading.
